First I would like to extend our deepest sympathy for the loss of a fellow racer Court Summerfield. We did’nt know Court, but we shared the same passion. Im told he Left us doing what he loved most. Deepest sorrow to the Family, friends, and team “Cant am”. God Speed Court.

Chupacabra did it! No we did’nt win,….not even really that close. But we finished! 34th I think? But out of 96…and being rookies at this I think thats admirable. We got as high as 20th place but ran into a mishap…..or another car/tire barrier. Bent the tie rod, but with the wild man Billy diving in (literally) we were out on the track in 40 minutes with a lot more tow in, which oddly I think helped the little Gti a bit? What an incredible experience. I want to thank everyone who came out to support and hang out with us. I think there were more El Moto loco shirts then any other in the pits:) The car resembles a twisted piece of reynolds rap now, but I think we all made a concious effort to save the car mechanically and it paid off… What did it pay you ask? A big suitcase full of happiness….(ok that was dumb….its late and Im tired….give me a break)

We really did come together as a team. Everyone contributed, thanks guys. Thanks Sarah for the great artwork. Thanks Billy for saving the day an hour sooner then we could have. Thanks Shane for bringing the “Land Eldorado” so we could relax in style, and intimidate our competition with our bling. Thanks Nick,Pete,Steve,Matt,& Denny for going along with this crazy idea, and driving like rock stars. Johnny,Renee,Amy,Jen and the boys for coming out from Reno to cheer us on. Michele, Shawn and the Kids, The Jors’s, Ratto’s, Thorlacksons, etc………….And thank you Jay Lamm for creating such an outlet for us patheticc gearheads.

Now its time to get Chupacabra ready for Thunder hill in December?

Yup. Car’s pretty much ready; roll cage, seat harness, fire extinguisher is installed, rough running figured out, spare radiator, extra oil, random parts are in the hatch, masks have been polished, take-downs practiced.

Saturday’s early check-in and setup at Altamont, and the race starts at 11:30AM. We’ll go until 6:30PM and start again Sunday at 9:30AM. We got high hopes of a lot of Jeffersons…

See if you can spot Chupacabra? Since Chupa was a nina, she has always felt a bit inferior and unloved:( That is until Team El Moto Loco decided to give the little Gti a sence of belonging. How you ask? Buy painting the birthplace of all fine Luchadores on her lid. In typical fashion, we have not gotten to finishing the flag. But as you can see the Italians have taken her in as one of there own….Belisimo!jsw_img_3941.jpgjsw_img_3945.jpgjsw_img_39441.jpg

jsw_img_39361.jpgMuchas Gracias to Sancho and Santo for giving the little GTi a sweet name. Chupacabra is a mythical demon who lives in Mexico and sucks the blood out of goats….Kind of like American women:) Click on the BLUE to see our Porsche Club Auto-X outcome…Mucho fun, with not bad results for a tired stock GTi? You can find it easy…Its the car that finished just ahead of the Porsche 997 turbo:) Note: The other “non Porsches” that finished ahead of us were were full blown race cars…with the exception of that M3. He was just rappido!

When President W sends all of you taxpayers your $300 to $600 payoff in hopes to buy your respect and help boost the economy. I suggest you all go out and purchase your very own crap can. Our little GTI was so fun at the Porsche club auto cross in Alameda, and Preformed Like a superstar. I smell Victory! (maybe thats just the moldy seats?) ……..And lots and lots of Nickels!jsw_beautiful.jpgjsw_img_3915.jpgjsw_chupa.jpg

Tijuana to Emeryville (via Pixar to meet Sally:)

Our Luchadores recently found out that only 50 positions out of 142 race teams will be excepted into the 24 hours of Lemons. With a hint of rejection possibly on the horizon, these keepers of justice have taken matters into there own hands. How you ask? Simple…By traveling to every registered teams town and beating our potential competition into submission……..”Its what we do!”

Thanks to Dr. Neutron’s recent care package from Sweden, which included a non-flux compacitating time machine Senior El Tormento, Santo, and Blue Demon #4 have gone back in time to a pre luchadora 1989, when while sailing the good ship Wasted they first spotted their destined Black GTI flying in from the future “Wow,…look Captain, she looks brand new!”.
